The only reason i could love is because i am loved by someone. People have love batteries, they could only love if their batteries have enough love to give and it recharges when someone loves them as well but this doesn't work in time because people end up empty of their love batteries, we dry up because not all our love are paid back. We have to charge our love batteries from a source that is unlimited.
"This is real love--not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins."
1 John 4:10 (NLT)
I could love unconditionally because i know what great love God has lavished on me, I am secured and content.
This is something that i have never understand before because i thought that it's okay if two people or a family that will love each other would always stay together. Relationships are not two way, it should be three-way and it should have a source of Faith, Hope and especially Love. I understood that without a governing God in our relationships, it would end up futile and dry.
I believe this is the secret of an everlasting and full of love in relationships. We have to be ready before entering into one, better when both parties know and understand first how much and what great love God has lavished on us unconditionally before they go into relationship
How great it is to love your special someone or family and being loved back unlimited and everlasting?
It's just pure awesomeness

Being Rich
Yesterday i've attended a learning event called Rich for Life by pastor Dennis Sy where he teaches the secrets of those who stayed rich for life and how we can be one. Btw, Dennis Sy is the Senior Pastor of Victory Greenhills. Husband to Thammie Sy, and father to two beautiful girls and one baby boy Isaiah. He is also the chief blogger of ACT LIKE A MAN - a movement dedicated to equipping men for biblical manhood. You can visit his site actlikeaman.org
For me it was really a life changing seminar because he does not only teaches principles of the Bible about money but figuratively speaking, He is making a surgery in our hearts. Here are some of the things that i've learned and realizations that changed my life forever
"God doesn't want you to GET rich but to BE rich"
"I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it's not the answer" - Actor Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey was a janitor when he was young that is why he worked hard for him to get rich someday and it actually happen but when that time came he actually said that it's not the answer.
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. - Matthew 6:24
"Jesus + Nothing = Everything" and "Everything - Jesus = Nothing"
Before, I pray to God "Lord bless me i want to earn and accumulate large amounts of money and have passive income so that i could retire early." but actually i have a heart issue pala it was out of greed that i prayed that prayer. I am already rich through Christ. He is everything that can suffice the needs of my heart whether it's my finances, relationships, family or anything. He is the assurance no insurance company can give and love that no one can measure, with Christ, i was reminded that i'm completely rich. whether there is money or none.
So para saan si money kung complete na pala ako kay Christ?
Money is a tool we need to use not to satisfy ourselves but to worship God that is our master and top priority above all else. God is the only one who can satisfy us.
There are so many things that is discussed in the seminar and i feel sleepy now so i'll end nalang with this
God said many times that He WILL bless us and all peoples on earth will be blessed through us, and that is His assurance because He is in covenant with us like a husband to his wife...
but
Am i ready to give once the blessing comes?
Money has a purpose and that is to honor God. God gave us the ability to produce wealth and that is why we need to use it for His work here on earth.
It's not about the money but it's all about the heart for where you're treasure is your heart will be.
Goodnight :)

GETTING rich is different from BEING rich, getting rich is accumulating money while being rich is more of our character. We can be rich without even really trying because being rich is not about the money, I'm not saying that money is not important actually it is very important but what i'm trying to point is that money is invented to serve us and not to be our master.

Security is all we wanted
Security is all we wanted in life.
Security in wealth ( you buy anything you need and want whenever you like )
Security in health ( you live a sick-free life )
Security in relationships ( you are loved by family and friends )
Security in lifestyle ( you live a comfortable life )
Security in everything we have and what we will have in the future ( you won't lose reputation, power, influence etc. )
Many times we think about these too much that we already enslaved ourselves mentally. We always seek these things and over time if we are not satisfied with what we gain, we become exhausted and frustrated in life.
We cannot work it by ourselves, we can't control every aspect in our lives. This world tells us that these securities are all we need to be satisfied in life.
If you know star wars movies then Anakin Skywalker is a good example. Anakin is a very talented kid, he was a slave and i believe that is the reason he has a very strong character. He has a very strong will to excel in life because he doesn't want to be weak. You know what happened in the story, he became a powerful Jedi but soon turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader because he don't want his wife Padme to die on childbirth (which he can't control). Anakin has everything but he wanted more.
In a sense, we all have this insatiable hunger for all these things. We will never be satisfied, we always want more. We are all also afraid to lose these things. That is why in a perspective we are slaves. We can't win this inevitable war against ourselves that will eventually lead us to sin.
unless we surrender.. not surrendering your dreams but surrendering it all to God
Faith, God has given us the choice to believe, when we believe in God there is faith and when there is faith there is power. A power of freedom and peace, the freedom from hunger and peace of mind that God will generously give us. We surrender all our insecurities, pride, greed, all of these to God
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy, and My load is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Matthew 6:33
Don't search for things that are temporary instead seek God who is eternal, and you will find security in Him. You will never be lacking. You will have peace of mind and freedom from your hunger.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
The best thing is that there is always an assurance from God, He has a promise. We just need to put our trust in Him, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Seasons
Hello everyone! I would like to share something that i believe would be life-changing. Personally, the way i see life today is different from the way i see it years before and i am confident to say to you that it will somehow change the way you see it as well.
This is what I've learned
There are only two seasons in our lives...
"A season of blessings and a season of trials"
It's like night and day, night won't come unless the day ends and the sun won't shine until the night ends.
Here's another thing
I believe that everyone of us pray. Whatever religion or whatever you believe in , we pray, some even pray to themselves. Especially in times of trials. We always wanted trials to end and have a worry-free life but believe me or not, none of us have that kind of life. Everyone one of us have different kinds of problems that we face each day.
It is very common among us to pray really hard in the "season of trials" and then the "season of blessings" comes in.
Now, i want to ask you a question,
When the "season of blessings" comes in, do you still pray as hard as you do in the "season of trials"?
Years ago, my answer was a solid "NO", why? because before, my fears drove me into praying really hard but when the "season of blessings" came in, that fear was not there, sadly so as my prayers.
Many of us pray hard in the "season of trials" because we have fears that those trials might break us, that we might lose big because of the big problems we face.
Fear should not be a motivating factor.
So what did i do?
Instead of praying "Lord help me with my problems because i don't want to stop schooling..."
I prayed in faith "Lord whatever you want to happen in my life, i trust you, i may lose big time but i trust you and i know you won't abandon me...."
After that, the "season of blessings" came and i learned that we should pray HARDER in this season THAN in the "season of trials" because:
- You'll never know how long the season of blessings would last
- You'll be strong enough for the next season
- You'll be in faith and not in fear
- You'll be more thankful in life
- You'll be more appreciative
- You'll be more patient
- You'll be more content
After that the "season of trials" will again come but IF you pray HARDER in FAITH in the "season of blessings" believe me, no mountains of trials will ever break you.
So this is what we do :
- Pray harder in the "season of blessings" than in the "season of trials"
- Pray in faith not of fear
"Rejoice in the darkest hour of the night because you're few minutes away from sunrise"

Choose!
I was checking my social sites and suddenly heard a conversation of a mother and her child. The child wants to join a marathon but her mom doesn't want her to go, i thought it was just a normal conversation until i heard her mom yelling saying different negative things just to limit her child. She was saying harsh things already to her child. My heart was broken hearing it because i just can't imagine how this will affect her child in the future. Imagine the confidence she lost. Maybe it is only a marathon for the mom but i believe it was everything for her child.I can't blame the mom.. not simply because it's not my concern but because i don't know what she have gone through in the past that made her that way.
We are all born innocent, we are just molded by different waves of people. there will always be legacies of the people before us, good or bad. We don't have a choice whether it will start from good or bad, but i believe that there will be once in our life that we will have a choice. A good legacy can be cut by a single mistake and a bad legacy can be change by a single good deed. A fruit that is ripe can be sweet but can also be sour.
In order for us to have good fruits we should know the roots.
What influences you now? what books do you read? what friends do you have? what words do you say? who do you believe in?
Our influence makes us think, what we think makes us act and what we act makes us defined.
How do we want ourselves to be defined? Good or Bad?
I hope we would all want to be good and leave a legacy full of hope for the generations to come.
For the child i pray that one day she will choose not based on her past but based on what she wants to be. One day she would be reached out by someone who will encourage her, support her and be her friend.
For the mom i pray that she would realize what she said to her child and maybe read this post. (haha)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control...."

The Search is Over
It's been rainy these past couple of days and I woke up early this morning for work but I felt that the gravity is like ten times stronger when i'm at bed so i decided to have my mocha to boost me up. The taste of coffee infused with cocoa is really tempting, it's like a dessert in a cup and i really enjoyed it, also the weather! :)
"... In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! i have overcome the world"
John 16:33
- Jesus
After work i decided to go to the mall to eat lunch and finally went home afterwards. I thought it was just a normal day for me, going to work then going home, then sleep, eat , pray, etc., like the usual routine i had for a couple of months but today was different, it feels like the wind is whispering in my ears and orchestrating my thoughts, my heart was pounding really hard i thought it was a heart burn. I had my water and there was relief then i decided to sleep, maybe i'm just tired and needs to rest. When i woke up i turned my laptop on, watched a movie then checked my FB account. When i was checking my FB i happened to chat with a friend i've never talked to for years i guess. It was great catching up with him since i have no idea what and where he's been into for the past years, He was a RN and i thought he is already working as a regular staff in a hospital or maybe applying as a nurse abroad. Little did i know that he was already abroad but not as a nurse but with a different profession, i was in awe because it takes a lot of guts to do that one! Imagine studying very hard for 4 years and really pushing it through to pass the board then after a couple of years decided to throw away that profession for a while and search for himself? that was a brave thing to do! The best part is that his parents are really well-off and he decided to leave, getting out of his comforts zone and stood up by himself.
Then i realized, what if i choose a different path as well? Honestly, i want to find myself too. i believe everyone of us has his or her own soul to search, all of us choose different paths like course, job, hobby, etc. but few of us really know what we want to do. We are all good in nature but sometimes the series of events and circumstances of our lives affects the way we decide things that leads us to different paths. Financial status is a big factor for almost everyone of us, let say i want to become a digital artists but because of my circumstance i can't enroll for digital arts since i can't afford the course. Another example is i want to become a photographer but since my rich and famous dad's only son is me and i have no choice but to go for a business course to become his future successor.
This world is unfair right? Why do we have to be stressed by this world pushing us to paths we don't really want?
I am lost already! crap! but there is one thing i am sure of in this world, and that is faith! whatever our circumstances are right now, whatever trials we're in right now i'm asking you to also accept it wholeheartedly like what i'm trying to do because God placed us in that position, status or circumstance for Him to be glorified. He will never leave you nor forsake you, he will be with you wherever you go, whatever you do, you just need to connect with Him.
Maybe you are like me before who said that "No, you don't understand i have no options already, i'm already shattered into pieces by these troubles i'm experiencing"
Guess what?
"... In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! i have overcome the world"
John 16:33
- Jesus
"Our lives are meant for trouble but we have a God whose size is double"
Keep the faith!

Experienced Learning
I've been working for two months now and i am getting used to with the regular routines we had at site. Funny because every time i would have a chat with someone (who's experienced already) at site, they would always tell me to gain experience for about 2-5 years, then apply for better opportunities abroad. I have no objections with what they say but i just thought that what if i could learn from them without really experiencing what they have encountered when they were learning? Then it should not take me 2-5 years before i could apply for better opportunities abroad! Bright idea isn't it? Well i can't say that it has a 100% success rate that i would learn and be as experienced as they are but the fact that they have shared a part of their experience with me and told me the mistakes they should have avoided, then somehow i felt like it added a 6 months experience to my CV ha!
Kidding aside, have you heard of a saying "Experience is the BEST teacher"?
Well one of my favorite speakers and coach told me through his book that "Other people's experiences are the best teacher"
I am very glad because i've learned a lot with that simple quote. The impact is inevitable, it has change the way i think and the way i see about learning something.
But there is one problem here,
What if the experienced person won't share his/her experience with me? Definitely i won't learn from him right?
That is why i believe that learning is also relational, having good relationships make learning more easier than studying it all by yourself. Why would you research if you can ask someone who have researched it already?
Here are some of my practical tips that i am also practicing to learn better
I hope i have shared something again with you, until the next post

- Talk to older people longer than people within your age
- Don't be complacent of what you know, there is always room for improvement
- Don't believe the people who look down on you, they are just afraid when the time comes that they should look up on you
- Almost everyone quits every now and then, if you haven't, it means that you are halfway there!
- Honor your parents and love them! even if you are a MD, still mother knows best!
- Don't preach what you do, Do what you preach.
- Don't be too harsh on yourself if you fail just grab a sandwich, have a frappe and enjoy the learning process.
I hope i have shared something again with you, until the next post

Student to Professional
It's been a while since i last posted here and i'm very excited to share something that I've been into these past few months.
Two months ago i graduated in college and earned a BS degree in instrumentation and control engineering, it seems that time really flies FAST! Yesterday i was a student and now i am a professional.
First of all i would like to consider myself really blessed because i landed a job in a matter of a month after my graduation, Praise God!. Let's face it, among the graduates each year only a little percentage of them can get jobs the same year and most of them end up jobless. Almost 18% of all the unemployed are fresh college graduates according to a newspaper. In a way, this shows that our country is still not on the verge of an economic boom rather, we are still thriving to attain that economic change for the betterment of our country just like a student who constantly work and study hard for him/her to graduate with flying colors and earn money for the betterment of his/her family.
Yes i graduated college in time and landed a job easily...
But am i really prepared? I mean, statistics tells us something about employment and our economy but "Am i really prepared to be an engineer?" "Is our country really prepared for a great economic stature?"
OR..
am i just going with the flow? Am i truly competent and worthy to be called a professional or is it only because i graduated college?
Why am i thinking this way?
What i'm only holding on now is, God has his own reasons, i may not understand it but i know His timing is always exact and beautiful in it's own way.
I guess i should believe that i am really now a professional and stand up for myself and utilize my skills and knowledge to benefit people around me.
I am a student 2 months ago but now I'm a Field Service Engineer and i operate a reverse osmosis system in a refinery. I am also doing part time coffee business and hopeful to make it BIG someday.
Lastly i would like to share a quote of mine
"Don't prove yourself to anyone because God has already proven something about you"
Until the next post :)
P.S. Sorry for the economy part i believe it's out of the topic haha

The five attitudes of God
Here are five simple attitudes that's so wonderful to cultivate in our lives. These are for us to be mentally prepared, spiritually calm, physically fit, and financially free.
Joyful
Be happy and smiling and laughing and joyous and fun.
Loving
Show kindness and compassion and love to all living things.
Accepting
Be tolerant of all people and all situations at all times.
Blessing
Bless every thing and every one and every moment.
Grateful
Be thankful and appreciative for every situation in life.
How much better our work would be if every human being practiced these attitudes in all their daily endeavors.
